Directed by Bob Lindenmayer

Starring Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show), Bob Lindenmayer

Megaforce (1982) is widely regarded as one of the worst movies ever made. Packed with futuristic vehicles, spandex jumpsuits, wild stunts, suspect visual effects, and relentlessly corny dialogue, it’s an adolescent adventure that time has forgotten. But Mega-fan (and filmmaker) Bob Lindenmayer is on a quest to convince the rest of the world just how amazing this under-appreciated stunt-filled spectacle is.

At first, Bob’s mission is pretty straightforward—chronicle the making of this box office flop through cast and crew interviews. But when he meets his hero, Barry Bostwick, the film becomes something more than just a documentary; it becomes a hilarious and touching tribute to the power of fandom, friendship, and flying motorcycles.

Poster for the documentary film "Making MegaForce" featuring two men standing in a desert landscape, one dressed as a futuristic space explorer with a motorcycle covered in electronic gear, and the other in a black suit. The poster highlights several awards and mentions that the film chronicles attempts to revive the 80s, with the tagline "The good guys always win. Even in 2025."
